Thomas Edward Patrick Brady Jr. was born on August 3, 1977. He is an American football quarterback for the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL).

He is one of only two players to win five Super Bowls (the other being defensive player Charles Haley), the only quarterback to win five, and the only player to win them all playing for one team.

Today, Tom Brady turns 40 years old. The reigning Super Bowl MVP and most important player on the most likely team to win this year's Super Bowl turned 40 the day the preseason began.
