Heather Watson out of Wimbledon after defeat to Victoria
Azarenka.
Victoria Azarenka had broken up with Heather Watson. Watson
was eventually overwhelmed and she remained at SW19 ending the first week
again.
In fact, Heather Watson was beaten in three sets by Victoria
Azarenka on day five at Wimbledon.
It was an unfavorable day for Heather Watson when she had to
save two break points in the opening game, the second with an ace, and quickly
broke his opponent in the second.
She tried a lot but still could not find the final victory
with Victoria Azarenka. Victoria Azarenka found a second wind in the second
set, the Belarusian breaking three times
to level the match and test Watson’s resolve again.

tennis player. She is a former world No. 1.
She has won two Australian Open singles titles (2012 and

Azarenka returned to competitive tennis at the 2017 Mallorca
Open, winning her first match against Risa Ozaki after saving three match
points in the final set. She lost in the second round to Ana Konjuh.
At Wimbledon, Azarenka came back from a set down to defeat
American teenager Cici Bellis in the first round. In the second round, she
completed the first straight sets win of her return by knocking out 15th seed
Elena Vesnina 6–3 6–3. In the third round, Azarenka beat Heather Watson in a
three set thriller 3–6 6–1 6–4 for 2 hours and 6 minutes. Azarenka will face
Simona Halep for a spot in the Quarter Final.

Heather Miriam Watson was born 19 May 1992. She is a British
tennis player and a Wimbledon Mixed Doubles Champion. She is a former British
No.1 and current British No. 2 behind Johanna Konta.
At the 2017 French Open, Watson failed to qualify, losing to
Richèl Hogenkamp in the third round of qualifying. She then was runner up at an
ITF tournament at Surbiton. Watson failed to make it past the first round at
Nottingham and at Birmingham. She reached Eastbourne semi-finals, having
defeated Dominika Cibulková in the second round, Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova in
the third and Barbora Strýcová in the quarter-finals, before falling to
Caroline Wozniaki.
