Murray and Hingis with Watson and Kontinen reach
semi-finals of mixed doubles.
Jamie Murray and Martina Hingis defeated all-British
pair Ken Skupski and Jocelyn Rae 6-4 6-4. Murray and Martina Hingis are the top seeds of Wimbledon 2017.
Both Murray and Hingis are bidding for their second
Wimbledon mixed doubles titles.
It was a big joy of tennis, when Britain's Heather
Watson and Finland's Henri Kontinen, who won the title last year, are also into
the last four. They win over Rohan Bopanna of India and Canadian Gaby
Dabrowski.
Kontinen is hoping to win the Grand Slam title after
winning the Australian Open in January along with John Peers.
Great Britain had two representatives in the
Wimbledon semi-final after Jamie Murray and Heather Watson won their respective
matches.
Many people say that Jamie Murray and Heather
Watson cannot meet until the final, and
it will be a familiar face on the other side of the net whatever for Murray if
he and Hingis make it.
