Mollema Wins Stage 15 of the 2017 Tour de France.
Bauke Mollema soloed to victory on the 15th stage of the
Tour de France 2017. Bauke Mollema was born 26 November 1986.
He is a Dutch
professional cyclist currently riding for Trek–Segafredo.
He try to claim his first career win in the race after he
powering clear of a sizable breakaway group with just under 30 kilometres to
go. Bauke Mollema finishes 19 seconds ahead of his pursuers while Froome keeps
the leader's jersey despite a broken wheel.
Mollema attacked with 29 kilometers to go. He always rushes
faster than everyone else, just enough to make sure he wins.
Bauke Mollema to
take the win with UAE's Diego Ulissi nabbing second and Lotto Soudal's Tony
Gallopin taking third, and his French compatriot Warren Barguil.
Bauke Mollema said that this is the biggest win of his
career so far. The Tour de France has always been his dream. He is incredibly
happy.
