Tesla's Long-Awaited and Lower-Priced
Model 3 To Arrive Friday.
CEO Elon Musk tweeted last Sunday that the company's Model 3
car had "passed all regulatory requirements for production two weeks ahead
of schedule. Expecting to complete SN1 on Friday," using an abbreviation
for serial number one, and the first Tesla in the mass market will be rolling
out of the factory this week.
Maybe this is The long-awaited electric car that’s priced
for the mass market. It is a hot news as drivers will be able to stand behind
Tesla's new model 3 later this month.
It is about $35,000 for Tesla’s Model 3 and that the first
30 owners will receive their cars during a handover party on July 28. This
almost paved the way for an ambitious production route.
It is the fully electric Model 3 is expected to cover a
range of 215 miles on one charge. A successful rollout of the Model 3 is
crucial for Tesla.
It is also thought that Tesla's Model 3 will bring consumers
to sustainable energy sources but also to the financial future of the company
that makes this product.
While some experts say that Tesla has learned from the
manufacturing issues that it faces with the Model X SUV, others have questioned
the company's ability to sustain its needs and collect profits from advanced
cars.
Excitement about the Model 3 has driven Tesla's stock price
up 67 percent during 2017, and as we've reported, Tesla recently surpassed Ford
in market value.
Does Musk face great challenges?
The answer is quite likely because Tesla has to scale up
production. Musk aims to produce 500,000 vehicles a year by 2018, or more than
40,000 per month.
In another sign of Tesla's ambition, the company intends to
announce a prototype working model of its truck sales at an event in September.
Musk also suggested that this event introduces an unexpected announcement.
